BOOKING OF COURTS POLICY

Club House Phone # (613) 692-0533

Club Members are able to book courts, in advance, by calling the Court Monitor at the clubhouse between the hours of 6pm and 9pm, Monday to Friday. Courts can be booked for the following day only with the exception of Fridays when bookings will be taken for Monday. Courts cannot be reserved for Saturday or Sunday.

Time slots can be reserved as indicated in the table below for weekday evenings. Outside of these times, courts are available on a first come - first served basis and cannot be reserved by Members. For exceptions to this rule please see the policy on priority access to court usage. Under certain circumstance, priority access to courts will be reserved during weekday evenings. These circumstances include league matches, scheduled clinics provided by the Club Pro, and organized club social evenings.

Courts can only be booked in time slots of 3/4 hour and a maximum of two sessions can be booked - i.e. it is possible to book a court for 1 ½ hours. Members playing together are not allowed to book additional time slots using a different name in order to reserve a court for more than 1 1/2 hours. At the end of a reserved time slot, Members are able to book the next session and continue playing if nobody else is waiting for the court.

If Members are waiting for a court (because all courts are in use), regardless of whether they have a prior booking, the Court Monitor will determine which court will next become available based on the schedule and book that court for the waiting Members. At the appropriate time, the Monitor will inform the Members on the court that they must vacate it and make it available to those who have been waiting.

Members are requested to cooperate with the Monitors. If problems occur, please follow the instructions of the Monitor and raise any concerns with Phil Johnson or Eamonn Garry.
